Bad Debt Credit Card |

Bad debts are the account receivable that are likely to remain uncollectible and hence are written off. Bad debt credit cards are considered as business expense, and are likely to reduce the net income of the business. There are various methods which allows for the continuation use of a credit card which is expired in terms of time or value units. Credit card payments and returned cheques amount is put under the bad debt expense account. When the amount owed is finally collected, the bad debt expense earlier recorded is reversed. |
