History of Project Management

Any activity that involves the doing of an uncompleted task is termed as project. The man is always trying to do which is not yet done. Thus, Project management is said to have been forever. The project management is as old as the man itself.

In the modern age project management is being up as professions. It started in the 1960’s that is after the establishment of Project Management Institute (PMI) in 1969 in USA. It is only then the Project Managers came into existence.
