Reporting progress is very important element in project management. Project manager issues the reports and distribute it to all members involved in development of project .It should be circulated among the sponser, budget holder, user of the project and team members.

Reports that are generated should keep some of the records like date, status, summary, issues, steps, decisions, future date, budgeted amount etc..

This can be implemented only through effective communication between customer and the developer.
