Florida bright future scholarship is a program created to establish a lottery-funded scholarship program.It help the graduate students of Florida who merits recognition of high academic achievement who enrolls in a degree program within three years of graduation from high school.

There are three types of awards provided by Florida bright future scholarship. This type of scholarship must be allocated from the education enhancement trust fund and must be provided before allocations from that fund are calculated for disbursement to other educational institutes.
